Description

A Concord 001 with seven observers in followed the path of totality across North Africa during the total solar eclipse. They achieved 74 minutes of totality. The jet flew at a speed of Mach 2.05 at an altitude of between 16,200 and 17,700 metres. Since it was well above cloud, the observers were able to awe in the whole duration of totality and make unprecedented amount of scientific observations.
